I started my Photography journey back in 2007. I picked up my husbands Canon SLR and thought I knew what I was doing. In fact I did not. Photography got pushed to the back burner for a bit while I planned my wedding, moved to California, and tried to find myself. I taught preschool for six years when I moved to Vacaville, which gave me a good foundation for my Preschool Portraits that I shoot today. In 2013 I finally became a mom after four years of trying. Emma Grace has rocked my world ever since. After becoming a mom I decided that I wanted to make Photography my career- so I decided to quit teaching and stay at home with my daughter and not miss a thing. Sadly I lost a profound person in my life- Stacie - who wore many many hats in my world. She pushed me to pursue this career- even if it meant leaving behind the teaching. In 2014- during a very dark time in my life- I started my business. It has grown more and more each year. In 2016 my husband and I were able to buy a new home and furnish my studio space devoted purely to my photography. It's my sacred tiny little space- but it's mine. In late 2018 I gave birth to our final addition- our daughter, Nora Hazel. My work is my passion. If I didn't have this business I'm not really sure what I would be doing- but I know I wouldn't be doing what I love. I am a self taught photographer. I've had many years of trial and error, reading, studying, and workshops both online and in person to help me reach my goals. My motivation and goal is to capture timeless images of the important moments in your life. So that's what I strive to do everyday.
